My Senator 24v tuned at Mantzel. 252 hp at engine, 208 hp / 293 nm at wheels with a 4-speed automatic ar-35 gearbox. Movies from dyno and some on the highway.. Not reached the topspeed because the traffic :(

252 hp at engine, 208 hp at wheels - what does it mean? Where have 44hp gone???
Transmission losses through the auto gearbox and diffential are usually approx 15-20% on any car, so these figures are just about right. Really good Senators have approx 230bhp at the wheels. Awesome cars. I really miss mine !!

yea, its like from the future in those times :) I am surprised. I dont remembers seeing this car in real life. My father had 2 opel records, so on those times there had to be senators also but for some reason did not see them.

because this car is from 80s lol, and has really slow automatic gearbox, performance would be much better with getrag

My dad had one back in 1997 he had 520 v8 pull like a train but it had the BVD box let it down a bit it only had 8 gears and that’s all it needed going up Mont Blanc it only drop one gear lol but that Mack v8 was marine engine 1000 bhp down rated to520 cool truck but bit thirsty great times

There practically isn't any footage of the interior while he's driving, so what exactly are you talking about?? Why would he double clutch in a synchromesh? Blipping the throttle while shifting whole gears is a usual thing to do. If you're gentle on your synchros, then you should blip the throttle to delay the rpm fall, because otherwise it falls below what's needed for the next gear by the time you finish the gear change.
@@tommeiner9983 aks the driver why he's trying to double clutch, you can hear him trying it on the exterior view. Absolutely no need to even blip the trottel between gear changes, especially on and empty truck like this.

Because if you actually knew anything about trucks you'd hear that. Also, no need to blip the trottel between gear changes on an empty truck, well unless you want to show off.

Это просто сказка а не машина, ездили на таком в 2002году когда служил в Псковской области на границе. Уазики и Газ 66 стояли а на этой машине мы ездили,тоже таким цветом и с таким мотором.
